ColdPress ("ColdPress," "we," "us," or "our") operates the ColdPress web application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Service.
1. Information we collect
Account and profile data
- Email address, authentication identifiers, and profile details you provide when you sign up or connect OAuth providers (e.g. Google).
- Brand and onboarding information you enter (niche, voice, pillars, preferences).
Content you upload
- Video files and associated metadata (filenames, duration where available, file sizes).
- Derived outputs produced by the Service (analysis summaries, suggested hooks, concepts, captions, schedules).
Usage and technical data
- Log data such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and pages or API routes accessed.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to maintain sessions and secure authentication (via our authentication provider).
2. How we use information
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Process uploads, run AI-assisted analysis and concept generation, and personalize outputs using your brand context.
- Communicate with you about the Service, security, or policy updates.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. AI processing and third-party providers
To deliver the Service, we transmit portions of your content and prompts to third-party AI and infrastructure vendors. Depending on the feature, these may include providers such as Google (Gemini), TwelveLabs, OpenRouter and underlying model hosts, ElevenLabs (voice), Anthropic (optional), Cloudflare (R2 object storage), Supabase (database and authentication), and hosting providers (e.g. Render). Each vendor processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Do not upload sensitive categories of personal data (e.g. health, financial account numbers, government IDs) unless you have a lawful basis and our assistance is appropriate for that use case.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: (a) performance of a contract with you; (b) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service (balanced against your rights); and (c) consent where required (for example, certain cookies or marketing, if offered).
5. Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Uploaded videos and derived analyses may be retained until you delete them or close your account, subject to backup and legal retention windows.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
- Professional advisers, regulators, or law enforcement when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice where required).
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. International transfers
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our vendors operate. We use appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.
9. Your choices and rights
- Access, correction, or deletion: contact us at privacy@coldpresshq.com. You may also delete certain content from within the Service where supported.
- Marketing: we will only send promotional emails if you opt in (when offered).
- California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including rights to know, delete, and opt out of certain sharing (we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA).
10. Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with an updated effective date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or an in-product notice.
